England vs Afghanistan Cricket World Cup

The England squad is currently considered to be the top contender for this World Cup. To their fortune, they haven’t been touched or affected by the rainy conditions as well.

Afghanistan are the bottom last team and currently have nothing to lose. The team will be expected to fight back and give the English men some competition. This is their second World Cup and what better a place to make it their proving ground.

Root currently has two tons and one half-century in this tournament, making him the 5th highest run getter. The Yorkshire opener is in distant form from the rest and has been scoring heaps of runs for his side, most being in a winning cause. Root couldn’t have asked for a better start in this World Cup as he has 2 centuries and one 50+ score in 4 played matches.

With over 5000 runs and a massive average of 51, Root is currently ranked 7th in the ICC ODI rankings. He is also the member of the infamous ‘Fab Four’ elite batting club. Root has a lot of expectations tied to him in this Tournament.

ODI No.2 ranked all-rounder requires no introduction as he has been the talk of the town for quite sometime now. The right arm spin sensation just has 3 wickets in this tournament so far, making him hungrier for more wickets in the coming matches. Rashid has 128 wickets in just 62 matches, with an average of just 15 and a strike rate of 24.

The young sensation is expected to erupt at any time and continue on his wicket taking run.

Belmont Stakes 2019: live stream The online coverage parallels NBC Sports’ televised coverage of the event, which starts On Saturday, the action concludes with the 2019 Belmont Stakes. It’s the longest Triple Crown race at 1 1/2 miles, and the additional endurance required is an enormous test for the 2019 Belmont Stakes horses, jockeys and trainers.

Belmont Stakes 2019 live stream 151st Belmont Stakes is happening today at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York, and with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the 70s, it’s looking like a beautiful day for a horse race. Ten horses will participate in the mile-and-a-half race as jockeys compete for a $1.5 million purse. War of Will and Tacitus are among the favorites, but anything is possible. Just look at the debacle at the Kentucky Derby last month.

Coverage of the Belmont Stakes begins on NBC Sports at 2:30 p.m. ET today (Saturday, June 8). Post time for the race is approximately 6:48 p.m. ET. If you’re a cable cord cutter who wants to watch all the action live on your computer, smart TV, or mobile device, you have a few different options.

There won’t be a Triple Crown winner this year, but that doesn’t mean the 2019 Belmont Stakes won’t be a thrilling conclusion to this year’s trio of major Thoroughbred races, especially with a wide-open 10-horse field set to go at it on Long Island.

Fresh off a Preakness Stakes victory, War of Will is the only contender of the 10 Belmont horses that ran both the first two Triple Crown events this year, and yet he’ll be guided through the 1.5-mile track — longer than the one at both Churchill Downs and Pimlico Race Course — by first-time Belmont Stakes jockey Tyler Gaffalione. His trainer, Mark Casse, also has Sir Winston in the mix — an attempt to throw a wrench in the historic Belmont resume of Todd Pletcher, who’s won three of these races before and has two horses of his own set to run this time around.

Not to be overlooked, Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith will also be part of the competition, riding eighth-place Preakness finisher Bourbon War a year after becoming the oldest jockey in racing history to win an American Triple Crown thanks to his work with Justify. Notably absent, of course, are the two biggest names from the Kentucky Derby — Maximum Security, which finished the race first but was disqualified after a controversial and unprecedented interference call, and Country House, which finished the race second and was declared the winner.
